Cashier III, Main Cash department located in the Kaiserslautern (Miesau) area close to Ramstein. Full-time hours. ***m/f/d***

I. SUMMARY

Under close supervision, performs duties in connection with receipt, rolling, packing and distribution of coins.

II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Rolls/re-rolls, labels, seals and weighs coins.
• Packs rolled/unrolled coins in cardboard boxes under dual control as per procedures for shipment by APO to the Branch Network/Finance Officers.
• Will be required to prepare and lift heavy currency shipments (paper and coinage).
• Performs final packing of pre-packed funds with wrapping paper and paper tape under dual control.
• May be asked to perform other administrative functions, to ensure a smooth-running, efficient operation.
• Protects the assets of the company and DOD.
• Protect entrusted keys, combinations and codes.
• Learn to prepare and reconcile Financial Paper Working Stock log and shipping documents.
• Complies with Regulatory/Compliance Program.
• Ensure adherence to teller station security and robbery procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

NOTE: Rolling & weighing of coins may be performed under solo control. Packing of boxes require strict and constant dual control.

Ill. KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREDSKILLS

• Excellent physical condition to constantly lift heavier weights.
• Some technical skills to operate counting and packing equipment.
• Good knowledge in PC/Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively as a team.
• Strong communications skills (including verbal and non-verbal) and active listening skills.
• Careful attention to detail and time management.
